Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week Tuesday, the first time for him, and the first time ever a Panthers' wide receiver has earned the award.
McMillan led the NFL in receiving yards (192) and ranked second in receptions (14) in Carolina’s 32-26 win over Detroit in Week 4. He became the fourth player in the last 10 seasons to record at least 14 receptions, 190 yards and multiple touchdowns in a single game. His 14 receptions are tied for the most by a Panthers wide receiver in franchise history in a single game, while his 192 receiving yards are tied for the second-most.
