North Carolina Central, in partnership with Teamworks Influencer, announced the launch Tuesday of the Eagle Exchange, a new platform designed to broaden Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for its student-athletes.
"We're thrilled to collaborate with Teamworks Influencer," NCCU Athletic Director Dr. Louis "Skip" Perkins said. "This partnership will expand Name, Image and Likeness options for our student-athletes. Through the Eagle Exchange platform, they'll be able to engage with sponsors and supporters to elevate their NIL potential."
The Eagle Exchange allows student-athletes to connect with businesses, donors and fans through the Influencer platform at no cost. The platform allows student-athletes to create opportunities such as autograph sessions, personal appearances, camps and clinics. It educates student-athletes on the NIL process and financial literacy in addition to offering branding and marketing resources. Supporters can access Eagle Exchange by CLICKING HERE or heading to nccueaglepride.com.
The exchange is also free to businesses, which can gain access to a student-athlete database after they register. Businesses can use the platform portal to contact NCCU student-athletes or request contact information. The NCCU compliance office receives a customized reporting form once an NIL agreement is made.
